David H Martindale's Obituary
David H. Martindale of Heber City, Utah passed away in his Timberlakes home on Friday, November 17th, 2023, at the age of 61.
David was born September 28th, 1962, to Melvin Leroy Martindale and Jeanette Gwen Hess Martindale in Salt Lake City, Utah.
For many years, he worked as the security guard of Timberlakes, manning the gate and patrolling the mountain. During his time in security, he was EMT certified, solved multiple burglaries, assisted in a number of house fires, and even survived a shoot-out.
He had such a love of music, he spent much of his life jamming out on the drums, taking friends and family to concerts, and just rocking out and having a good time.
He loved the mountains. He spent a lot of time cruising around the hillsides and ultimately moving right up onto the Timberlakes mountain where he cared for his father and worked hard on the property t make an exciting and fun mountain experience for friends, family, and children cutting 4wheeler and snowmobile trails right in the yard.
He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin Leroy and Jeanette Gwen Hess Martindale, his sister Dennese (Martindale) Snarr, and his lifelong best friend Calvin Malm.
He is survived by his siblings, Karen Sue Smith (Danny), Douglas L. Martindale (Maureen), Brend Cline (Karl), and Keith Hess Martindale, daughter Crystal Gwen Bates (Rick0, son Christopher Troy Snow, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 1st, 2023, 12 pm at the Lake Creek 2nd Ward in Heber City, Utah (6250 East 1200 South, Heber City, Utah).
