David Lynn Stevenson's Obituary
David Lynn Stevenson, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022.
He was born in Price, Utah on May 25, 1949 to Mary Ann Mangum and John Charles Stevenson. He joined the United States Navy immediately after high school and served honorably during the Vietnam era, earning two Purple Heart medals and the Navy Cross among many other medals. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings, but found his greatest calling serving in the Boy Scouts of America program, training and teaching young men skills and lessons enabling them to grow into strong adults. He even earned the rank of Silver Beaver himself. He is survived by his two children, Cassidy Ann Stevenson and Trey Lynn Stevenson, and three grandchildren, Jackson Stevenson, K.J. Stevenson and Zuri Aylynn Stevenson.
A private graveside service will be held at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park. The family would like to thank his wonderful neighbors and friends that have helped him live independently for the last years of his life. In the true words of Lynn Stevenson…. HOO YAH!
