Dear Charlotte,
I'm sorry I missed you this morning; but I just wanted to wish you and your family every sweet blessing of heaven. Dean and I were close friends growing up in the Parleys area. He went into the Merchant Marines about the same time I went into the Coast Guard. I will always treasure the times we spent together as friends over a period of several years. I'm sorry I didn't meet you, because you were such a vital part of Dean's life after the war. Thanks for having such a good influence upon him and upon your fine family.

We have so many fond memories with you and your family! For those of us whose own family was less than ideal, you and your home was heaven, and showed us how we should treat one another.
