Debbie Jean Atkins' Obituary
Debbie Jean Atkins
Debbie Jean Atkins, 41, passed away on November 20, 2019 with her family by her side.
Helping people was a large part of who Debbie was… evidenced by her career as a Physical Therapists’ Assistant and shown daily in her acts of kindness. No matter the person or animal, she always made sure they felt loved.
Debbie believed that memories and adventures were priceless. We all have endless memories of her warmth, genuine caring, sense of humor, and positive energy. Debbie impacted people in such a way that makes it impossible for her to be gone. She will forever live on in all of us. As an organ donor, Debbie will continue to help people create their own memories and enjoy new adventures.
Debbie is survived by her husband Tom; daughters Aspen, Kiara and Lexi (Lyon); 2 dogs; 2 cats; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; her mother; many nieces and nephews; and a long list of people she has helped along the way. Her energy and spirit will continue to fill the Earth, and will inspire us to be kind, set aside differences, and offer unconditional love.
We will never forget the laughter and memories we shared. Her loving spirit touched too many to count. She will forever be loved and missed, and her legacy will live on for generations to come.
A Celebration of Debbie will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at The View Event Venue located at 11649 S 4000 W, South Jordan from 12 noon to 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society of Utah, or the “Supporting the Atkins Family” GoFundMe.
