Deborah S Brown's Obituary
Deborah S. Brown, age 66, died on Thursday, March 20, 2014 after a courage battle with her health. Debbie was born January 13, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the daughter of James Henry Sweatman and Venice Simpson and was the oldest of 7 siblings. She grew up in Utah and graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. She lived for periods of her adult life in Washington, Alaska, Alabama and Montana, before ultimately returning to Utah. She was a stay-at-home mom when her children were young, a travel agent and eventually an executive assistant for multiple corporations. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, laughing, reading, cooking, fishing, camping and being with her friends and family. Debbie will forever be remembered by her beloved children Daniel & Melanie, her treasured grandchildren Nathan, Johnathan and Hannah, her bothers Jimmy & Mark and sisters Donna, Connie & Candy, along with countless other friends and family, who were blessed to have known her. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Cindy. Debbie touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity and maintained her quirky sense of humor all the way to the end. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a small, informal reception, held from 12:00 p.m. - 4 p.m. Monday, March 24, at the Lakeside Adult Community Apartments, in the Clubhouse, 1580 West 3940 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice in Deborah Brown's name.
