Deborah Sharp's Obituary
Deborah Sharp, age 75, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, in Midvale, Utah. Born on December 1, 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Robert and Velma Blake, she lived a life rooted in faith, family, and a deep commitment to excellence in all she did.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Sharp. Their journey together began at Hillcrest High School and blossomed into a lifelong partnership filled with love, devotion, and shared memories. She was the proud mother of five children: Jason, Jared, James, Jake, and Cassie.
A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Debbie strived to live the word of God as closely as she could. Her spirituality was a guiding light not only for herself but also for those around her. She had an unwavering belief in finding the good in every situation and inspired others to do the same.
Debbie had a passion for reading and genealogy. She spent countless hours tracing her family roots, and her dedication led to meaningful connections with long-lost relatives—moments that brought her great joy and fulfillment. She also found happiness in hosting large family dinner parties where everyone could gather to reconnect over home-cooked meals prepared with meticulous care. Her cooking and gardening were done with precision and pride; everything had to be just right or as close as possible.
Christmas was especially important to her, with all the decorations, presents, and dinners creating a special atmosphere that made everyone feel included and cherished.
Her grandchildren will deeply miss those cherished gatherings that brought the entire family together under one roof—a tradition that reflected Debbie’s love for unity and celebration.
Those who knew Debbie remember her as a strong-willed woman who led by example. Her presence was a daily source of comfort and inspiration—a role model whose absence will be felt profoundly.
Deborah Sharp leaves behind a legacy of faith, perseverance, and unconditional love. May her memory bring comfort to all who were blessed to know her.
