Debra "Debbie" Wendy Coulson's Obituary
Debra Wendy Coulson "Debbie"
Was Born 11/12/1957 in Liverpool England to Ada Evelyn Wake and Arthur Sullivan Morecroft.
Moved to America in the 1960's. Debbie Married James Coulson on June 27th 1975, later divorced, but we're able to remain friends until her death, Debbie always said " that Jim really was her one True Love". Debbie was provided the luxury of being able a stay-at-home mother, her children were spit shiny, and dressed in matching outfits, usually pure white tshirts and osh kosh overalls and without a hair out of place. They'll never forget when the spray bottle of water came out, getting their hair combed with her pink Avon brush! Debbie was an excellent example of a mother, and her nieces always wanted to be just like her! When her children got older, she did get a job at Harmon's and she worked in the deli, and then the floral department, she also went on to learn and become a pharmacy tech, she loved it! Her last job that she had, was working at a gas station, she enjoyed talking to people, she was even able to work with her daughter Jessie there, and they would work opposite shifts, so that the other could be home with Jessie's son Ryan whom they raised him together! Debbie and Jessie were never apart Jessie's entire life! Jessie passed away on September 4, 2022, and Aunt Deb kept saying "That she couldn't live without Jessie!" And she was trying to be so strong to continue to raise Ryan, because she had never been away from her grandson Ryan his entire life either!, But once she knew that Ryan was safe with his Uncle Cory and Aunt Charity, and their children, with Uncle Kevin and his family close by. Though she kept hope of getting better and moving out there with them, she knew that her health was failing she stayed in Salt Lake City and was taken care of by her son Danny. Danny was the main male role model for her grandson Ryan too. Danny was by her side non-stop for the past couple of years, but towards the end she was completely dependent on Danny, and he was there for her, literally her hero! She was torn about everything, and all she did was worry, but she knew that her boys were taking care of everything, and had them by her side with her grandchildren and was able to pass peacefully. Her children and her grandchildren were her greatest achievements! Debbie had a beautiful voice, and could sing like no other especially Patsy Cline. Debbie is survived by her sons Cory (Charity) Coulson, Danny Coulson, Kevin (Kristen) Coulson; her grandson/Son Ryan Coulson; granddaughters Norah, Harlie, Rain, Harper and her grandsons Dylan and Jayden; her Dog Jade. Debbie is also survived by her brother Paul (Barbara) Fleming, sister Alma Richards; her nieces and nephews Leigh, Hilary, Heather, Rainna, Stephen, Misty, Christie, Ricky, and plenty of great nieces and nephews! Debbie is preceded in death by her daughter Jessie who passed away less than 6 months ago; sister Vivian, mom Nana /Evelyn, father Arthur, brother Steve, nephew Justin and her special dog Sadie. The family would especially like to thank the Copper Hills 6th Ward, Bishop Trevor Thompson, Meghan Ferguson, and so many more in the ward for all their blessings and help. We could not have done these last 5 months without them since Jesse passed away, and they always made sure that Aunt Deb and Ryan were okay and taken care of!
Debbie's celebration of life will be Saturday January 28th at 4:00 p.m. at Copper Hills 6th Ward, 9227 South Wild Clover Lane ~ West Jordan, Utah.
