Debra Christiansen Windley's Obituary
Debi passed away on November 22nd 2013, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 28, 1953 to Ralph and Dorothy Christiansen in Layton, Utah. She graduated from Layton High School and continued her education at Weber State University, She started her career in the medical profession at St. Marks Hospital radiology department, where met and made many life long friends. After leaving St. Marks she continued working as a consultant and coding analyst with friends and colleagues at Medindex, Ingenix and most recently AssetDynamx. She married Greg Windley on June 18, 1976. She is survived by Greg and her three sisters, Sandy (John) Jaussi UT, Ginger (Andy) Anderson MD, and Linda (Craig) Shupe AZ.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at IMC Hospital, especially the Trauma ICU, Neurological ICU, Neurological floor Doctor and Nurses and the OneCare Hospice Team.
Debi requested that no funeral be held, that friends and family celebrate her life in their own way.
In lieu of flowers please send a donation in her name to Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah, a cause close to her heart. She is out of pain now and running somewhere with her dogs.
