Delber Charles Chipman
1930 - 2017
Del was born October 4, 1930 in La Mesa, California to Ralph Delber Chipman & Marion Bell Leonard. He passed away on July 10, 2017 at home in Pleasant Grove, Utah surrounded by his loved ones.
Del and Marilyn Haws were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple in 1953. They had one child, Stephen K. Chipman. Marilyn passed away February 17, 2001.
Del then married Margie Hunter on January 18, 2002 in the Salt Lake Temple. She has three children Lori, Rob & Heidi.
Del served in many auxiliaries in the church and served faithfully. He loved the gospel, camping and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife Margie, daughter-in-law Judy Aknin, children Lori Nichol (Jim Hager), Rob Hunter, Heidi (Steve) Martini, grandchildren Ryan and Hannah Chipman, Arran Nichol, Tyler, Jayce, Jacob and Taylor Martini.
Preceded in death by wife Marilyn Chipman, son, Stephen K. Chipman and parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Battle Creek 1st Ward, 200 South 1220 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. There will be a viewing prior to services from 10:45 am to 11:45 am. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
