1935 – 2018
Dell W Larsen 1935 – 2018 beloved partner, father, brother, grandpa and uncle passed away January 9, 2018. Dell was born in Glenwood Utah November 13, 1935 to Bertrum C and Elsie McClellan Larsen. Attending school in Glenwood and Richfield he graduated from Richfield High School and moved to Salt Lake to attend Stevens Henager College. He was always a very hard worker, He worked for Sperry – Univac, Northwest Pipeline and finally as a sales representative for SalesMark from which he retired.
He married Rosalie Anderson on September 13, 1956, later divorced. He later married Chad Smith in 2008, who has been a loving companion that supported him through the later trials of his life. Dell and Chad loved to cruise often and traveled to many parts of the world together occasionally including family members in their travels.
Dell is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Steve and Blaine. Dell is survived by his partner, Chad Smith, son Richard (Celeste), 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Brothers Arell, Ron, Fred and Dean and sisters Marcia (Nielsen) and Pat (Curtis).
During their childhood Dell and his sister Marcia contracted Polio and supported each other in getting through that ordeal often taking the train from Richfield to Salt Lake for treatment. From that arose a special bond that would last thought their lives.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday January 20th, at 11:00 A.M. at the Inner Light Center, 4408 South 5oo East, Murray, Utah
