Deloris Halling, known to friends as “Dee”, peacefully passed away on November 2, 2018 at home surrounded by family, after valiantly battling a rare cancer that wore her physical body down. Mom was born on October 26, 1938 in Goo Read Obituary
We enjoyed watching our children build a relationship with Grandma Dee. They would Facetime with her frequently and always looked forward to speaking with her. We were all very sad the day we heard the news but the memories will linger in our hearts forever. She was a very special woman who lived an amazing life, was kind, and a great example.
Our deepest love and sympathy to your family at this difficult time. We loved serving with Sister Halling at the Ogden Temple. She was kind and gracious and truly an angel to all the patrons who came to the temple and also to all of us who had the opportunity to serve with her. She was an example to us all. Our prayers are with you.

Our thoughts of sympathy goes to Dee's family. We served in the Relief Society Presc'y. together. That was how I got to know Dee. What a sweet, lovely lady. I know she has suffered for a lot of years for me knowing it was when she was beat up by those men at a ball game while visiting one of her children. It seems like her health started going down hill at that time. Gene our prayers go out to you. You have been so good in caring and loving Dee. May the Lord bless you All.

One of my favorite memories was when I went to our trip to Branson, Missouri for a family reunion . I remember we picked her up it was one of the funnest trips I ever had!!! She wrote down a note for all her grandkids in Florida before she passed away. She said, “ I am here to to understand you, I am here to love you, I am here to cry with you, I am here to laugh with you, even if I am not here with you I will still be here to love you.” She told me and others that and it’s helped me feel better knowing that she is still with me even though she’s not here. — Bridget Yates
Her testimony of Faith and love is an example I will carry with me forever. When we visited her earlier this month she bore her humble witness to us all about life after death & about her Love for The Savior.
