Denise Iris Huggins (Perry)'s Obituary
Denise Iris Perry was born on December 7, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA. She passed away peacefully in her home on March 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Denise was a steadfast presence in the lives of everyone who knew her—a rock and an immovable wall for both her family and friends. With over 20 years of service as an elementary schoolteacher, she devoted her life to helping, teaching, and mentoring others. She had a remarkable ability to bring out the best in those around her, always encouraging others to strive for greatness while she too continuously pursued excellence.
She was the beloved mother of four sons: David, Dominic, Duvall, and Paul, and the cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren. Denise’s devotion to others was only surpassed by her devotion to God. No matter the time or distance, she always found a way to support and uplift those she loved. Her home and heart were always open, and her legacy of love, guidance, and wisdom will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Denise’s memory will live on in the lives she touched, and her loved ones will carry her in their hearts as they continue to thank God for the peace she now rests in, even as they mourn their loss.
A viewing will be held on April 3rd, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a service program to follow from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM. Both will be held at 825 E 500 N Street, American Fork, UT 84003. We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Denise’s life and the love she so freely gave to all.
