Dennis Ray Cordon's Obituary
Dennis Ray Cordon, 83 of Pleasant grove, Utah passed away on December 28th 2025 at Timpanogos Hospital in Orem.
Born on December 8, 1942 in Burbank, California to George Albert and Eliza Nielson Cordon. He was the 9th of 10 children, being 8 years old when his baby brother Philip was born. He was so happy to be a big brother.
Dennis married the love of his life Carol Ann Allen, on May 15th, 1962. They had three children, Kris Ann, Tami and Guy. Dennis was 23 years old when he was married and a father of three kids. He worked endless hours as a young man to support his family.
Dennis was known as a scoutmaster for many years, always pushing boys to see their potential and become eagle scouts. He was a missionary to many, helping them realize the power of repentance and the way to Christ.
Dennis lost his bride to health issues in 2009. Their reunion must have been spectacular.
Dennis spent his life as a builder, constructing beautiful mansions and designing amazing homes. His mind was brilliant and his work was impeccable. He was always true to his word and often tried to work for less to help people with their struggles.
Dennis is survived by his three children, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on Friday January 2, 2026 at the Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 1176 N. 730 E. Pleasant Grove Utah. A family viewing will be held from 9:30am- 10:45am in the same location.
Dennis’s dedication to his family and the gospel of Jesus Christ will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
