Deserae Rose Williams (October 3, 1991 - July 22, 2026)
Our beautiful angel, Deserae Rose Williams, passed away surrounded by family at her side on July 22, 2026, following a brief, valiant battle due to medical complications.
Deserae was born on October 3, 1991, in Murray, Utah. Her parents, Gar and Shauna Williams, loved and carefully protected throughout her entire life.
She faced lifelong challenges with cerebral palsy for 34 years, but scattered sunshine with everyone she knew. Deserae had the most contagious laugh. She loved people and everyone fell in love with her personality. Her smile and laughter will live on in our hearts forever. Deserae always laughed when she knew she should be quiet and had a fun sense of humor. She touched so many lives and was truly an angel. She was such a joy to be around even through her difficult challenges.
Vacations were exciting for her at the ocean, Disneyland, Zions, Bryce Canyon, and Yellowstone. She absolutely loved the outdoors and camping. She was delighted with Disney music and bright colorful lights.
We are so grateful to all the family, friends, teachers, and aides, who showed love and helped Deserae have a better life. She cherished spending time with her parents and siblings. She adored her grandma, Beverly, and spent countless hours by her side. Also, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who fought so hard for Deserae. A special thank you to Valeo Home Health and Hospice for comfort care and to Premier Funeral Services.
She is survived by her parents, Gar, Shauna; brother, Nathan; sister, Angelene; grandma, Beverly Simmons; aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amber; and grandparents; Alma Simmons, Wanda Williams, and Edgar Williams.
We deeply love and will miss our beautiful princess. She taught us that the simple things in life are what matters. Even though she is no longer in our sight or touch, memories will live forever in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be later at a private gathering. The family requests attendees wear bright colors and sparkles in her honor.
