Deseree "Desi" Jackman Alfaro's Obituary
Deseree (Desi) Jackman Alfaro,
Our beautiful Desi was born on May 1, 1984, in Jacksonville, Florida and left this world on Friday March 18, 2022. Desi was a tiny precocious toddler, and number 8 of 10 siblings. She made friends easily and was always making her friends and extremely large family laugh. We miss that laugh already. In her younger years she excelled in gymnastics (or “jynastees” as she called it). She was also an extremely talented varsity cheerleader at Skyline High School and was scouted by college recruiters. Desi excelled at everything she did. At every job she had, she went above and beyond her role and was promoted quickly to managerial positions. Desi was known for her kindness and was so thoughtful that even on the day she passed she gathered her co-workers and customers to help a homeless man who came into her work. Desi was preceded in death by her Grandma, Kenna Dean, her aunt, Wendy Shurtliff, and her cousin, Matt Murdock. Desi is survived by her husband Ivan Alfaro, her two beautiful children McCoy (Beverleigh) and Shiloh Alfaro, her dog, Venus; her parents, John Jackman and Michelle Dean-Jackman, her siblings John, Daisin “Dave”(Jenn), Mark (Megan), Nate (Natalie), Tom (Shelly), Katie (Donny), Brandalynn “Brandy”, Zeke (Sammee), and Nichole (Andrew), as well as 21 nieces and nephews and countless cousins, aunts, and uncles who adored her. Desi didn’t live an easy life, but she lived it to its fullest, hard and fast. She was loved by all who knew her and is unforgettable. A celebration of life (and her Birthday) will be held at the Wheeler Historic Farm Barn on April 30th, 2022 from 12:30 pm-2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to her GoFundMe to benefit her husband and children. GoFundMe:https://gofund.me/4dcee408. I love you Mommy! -Shiloh
