Diana was born on September 15, 1975 in Bountiful, Utah. She was raised by two amazing parents who loved her very much. She Graduated from Viewmont High school in 1993. Diana met Todd in 1992 while out cruising State street with friends. They dated for a year, and married May 14, 1994 in Roy. She was a wonderful wife to Todd- willing to work through anything together and always forgiving of his faults. He would always joke and say that he had a "Magic House", but it was really his amazing wife. They were later sealed together forever in the Ogden, Utah Temple on March 22, 2003. They lived in Layton, Utah for a few years and then moved back to Roy, Utah in 2001.
Diana- unbeknownst to her, received two of the biggest blessings in life, Shelby in December 1994, as well as TJ in August 1997. Diana was meant to be a mother and loved it more than anything. She spent a lot of time with her kids- taking them on sledding adventures, supporting them in their sports and being their biggest cheerleader. She was very patient with them, always willing to help with homework and asked about their day (Even through their angry teen years). She was the family moderator. The memories that they made together will be cherished throughout their lifetime. She helped shape two amazing kids into kind and loving adults.
Diana started her Health Care career in the Phlebotomy lab at Ogden Regional Hospital where she fell in love with taking care of others. She went on to graduate from Stevens-Henager college with a Medical Assistant degree. She was the go-to girl when they needed help drawing blood. She worked as an MA for over 16 years until February 2025, where she made life-long friends that loved her dearly, including Krystle Yamashita, Gina Muscolino, Laura Zaugg, and many others.
Diana loved being surrounded by her family- going camping and riding four wheelers were some of her favorite things to do. She loved the Johnson family camping trips, family dinners at her parents, and soft ball games at the park. She had the opportunity to take her parents on a trip through Oregon- one of her bucket list items. She loved her parents and siblings very much. She loved her mother in-law very much as well. She wasn’t just her “daughter in-law”, Martha considered her one of her own. Diana's favorite places was Jackson Hole, Wyoming- camping with family and good friends: Dayne (Trisha) Jacobson, Blake or as she called him "Blockke" and the many other Roush’s. She also loved going to Bear Lake- spending time with her dear friends Shaun and Danette Hill, and Jon and Earlene Shively. She loved spending time with Bobby and Teresa Gray as well.
Diana was the official Ring Master of the crazy circus that we call the Berglund's. (aka adult supervisor, camp mom, photographer, and the one who kept us all safe & out of jail..) Diana was always up for new adventures and challenges, from going down the speed slide at Lava (even though she lost her swim top in the process), to learning how to shoot guns, riding Todd's motorcycle, and jeeping and going zip-lining in Costa Rica last year.
Diana fell in love with her 2005 Jeep Wrangler and named it "Dirty D". She loved spending time with her extended family in the remote trails of Moab and Vernal, Utah and with beloved friends Jen and Jennifer (aka Jeremy) Hill, BeLynda Edwards and Vinnie Noriega.
Being a grandma was the joy of her life. She had a huge part to play in raising Jaxton. She loved going on grandson dates with him. She loved nothing more than being a grandma again when Carson was born. She was so excited to meet Shelby and Jared's new baby in January 2026.
Diana had a unique talent of making you feel welcome and loved. She was a selfless woman, always making sure that everyone was fed, safe, and comfortable. She was so proud of her family, and she never let us forget it. She had the best laugh, the best smile, and the best heart. We will miss her beyond measure.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Roy 16th ward as well for their support during this time.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Roy West Park, 4650 S 2900 W on Friday, June 13, from 5-9pm. We would love for you to bring your favorite photos and memories to share.
In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to donate to a venmo account to help her family with expenses.
