Diane Edith Stewart's Obituary
Diane Edith Stewart, age 80, passed away March 16, 2022 in Orem, Utah. Diane was born March 1, 1942 to Duncan and Marjorie Hamilton in Drumheller, Alberta and spent her childhood in Luscar, Alberta. She served an LDS mission to Austria from August 1963 to August 1965. She married Roy Leland Stewart in the Cardston, Alberta temple in July 1966. Over her life span she held various part time jobs but her main love and calling in life was to be a home maker and mother to her two sons: Nathan and Joseph Stewart. She loved to play the piano and to knit/crochet when she wasn’t bustling around the home. One of her favorite and most memorable jobs was as a veterinary assistant and especially loved “kitties”. She was well known by her family, friends, and ward members for the service in which she was almost always engaged, while always thinking she wasn’t doing enough. She is missed by many and will be remembered as an amazing person.
Survived by her sons Nathan and Joseph and sister Wendy Swainson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Lindon 16th Ward, 610 West 100 South ~ Lindon, Utah with a viewing to begin at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
