Dolores Corene Dorsett Badnin, beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on the morning of June 1, 2017.
Dolores was born October 11, 1922 in Tampa, FL, daughter of Alfred and Corene Dorsett. She married Harry Badnin on October 7, 1944 in Tampa, FL.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Bjork, and her son, George Badnin; her sister, Kitty Taylor, her brothers, Alfred Dorsett and George Dorsett; five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Everyone who met her thought she was incredibly sweet, kind, and loving. Her hobby and interests were always how to make children happy. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1962 and remained active and faithful all her days.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Suncrest 9th Ward, 140 North 400 West, Orem UT where a viewing will be prior to services from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.
A graveside service will be held at the Gardens of Memory on June 13 in Tampa, FL.
