Dominic Mario Cordova's Obituary
Dominic Mario Cordova passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones during the very early hours of July 1, 2016 at Salt Lake Valley Regional hospital. He was born on December 11, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joyce Cordova and Valentino Vigil.
Dominic is survived by his mother, Joyce Cordova, his 6 children, Latoshia Gibson, Rhiannon Cordova, Angelica Cordova, Nicholaus Cordova, Abigail Cordova, and Brooklyn Cordova, and his siblings, Nicole Cordova, Sara Cordova, Jesse Cordova, Tiffany Gallegos, Mario Vigil, Logan Vigil, and Andrea Williams. He lived happily with his long-term girlfriend, Stacy Overby, her children, Breonna Corado, J.C. Corado, Brayden Overby, and Dominic Overby, and his youngest daughter, Brooklyn. He is preceded in death by his father, Valentino Vigil, his daughter, Daisy Cordova, his aunts, his uncles, and his cousins.
He was a caring father who loved all of his children very much, an older brother who was very close to his siblings, a loving son, and a person many people loved and considered a good friend. If you knew Dominic, you knew he had a great sense of humor and huge personality, and loved to make people laugh. His heart was so big, and if you were around him his smile and laughter was contagious. He was so talented and intelligent, and was an amazing artist. He was a huge Steelers fan, and also loved the Utah Jazz. One of his favorite things to do was go to Jazz games and to watch football with his family. Dominic was loved by so many, and will be incredibly missed, but never forgotten. He is flying free with the angels now.
Dominic’s viewing will take place Sunday, July 17 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Premier Funeral Services located at 7043 Commerce Park Dr. Midvale, UT 84047. After those services his family will be holding a celebration of his life and potluck at Duck Park located at 3050 South 500 East.
