Donald Jay Gibb's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Jay Gibb, a loving husband, devoted father, beloved grandfather, and cherished member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, who peacefully returned home to our Heavenly Father on 11/26/2024. Donald passed at his home in Sandy, Utah with his wife by his side. Born on 6/14/1943 in Cardston, Alberta Canada to Fredrick and Helen Gibb he was the 5th of 10 children. Donald was known for his Kindness, Generosity, and Strong work ethic. He was passionate about anything he put his mind to, loved unconditionally, and took great pride in his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Gloria Gibb, and his children. Daughter, Camille Mardene Astle, Son in law, Kelly Astle, Son, Tony Dean Gibb, Daughter in law, KC Gibb, Son, Aldo F. Gibb, Daughter in law, Loreal Gibb, Daughter in Law, Cindy Blackburn Gibb.
He is preceded in death by his son, Bruce Jay Gibb. He has 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on December 7, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 949 E. 10600 S Sandy, UT 84094.
