Donald C Johnson's Obituary
Born to Clifford Johnson and Afton Thueson in Caldwell, Idaho,
Don grew up on a dairy farm. He married Beverly Miller on October 17th, 1950, and joined the military, serving at Air Force bases in Alaska, Pennsylvania, and Puerto Rico. Don graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in 1968. He moved many times in his life, always working hard and pursuing his dreams with gusto. He was a skilled mechanic, pilot, teacher, miner, and truck driver.
Later in his life, he married Faye Tomlinson, living in Pleasant Grove, Utah and then Kathy Long, living in Arizona and Florida. For the last years of his life, Don lived with and was cared for by his sister-in-law Ann and brother Peter. Don is survived by children Donette (Christer), Amber (Dave), Erik (Renee), Kraig (Hua), Melanie (Tom), Steven (Susan), Renae (John), and Cedenia (Charlie), 25 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister Carol (Robert) and brother Peter (Ann).
A memorial service is being planned for Spring of 2026.
