Phillip Kunz just telephoned me and told me of Donna's passing. Certainly to ALL of her children I send my heartfelt sympathy and love. Through the years we often echanged e-mails and also talked on the telephone. To me, her "Barn at Bern" book was pricless. When she was here in Switzerland, we had many, many choice conversations. My thoughts and prayers are with you that you may find comfort and emulate the greatness of a wonderful mother and grandmother.

My dear Aunt Donna, you are such a beautiful soul! You were so much more than my teacher. For me, you were a mentor; an incredible lady that had a huge influence on my younger years. I know you loved your family and they loved you. I believe your passing will leave a huge hole in many hearts. I know it does mine.

I got to know this dear woman when I taught school. She shared many stories with me about her fascinating history. She was full of wisdom and set a Godly example. She became a friend to me. When I left teaching we would still stop to chat when our paths would cross. I love her and will miss her very much.

My Aunt Donna was the best teacher I had. We spent a lot of time eating out and visiting. We had many good times. She had so much energy it was hard to keep up with her. I Wish I could remember everything she taught me it was so long ago. I hope her family feels peace and comfort in knowing we will all be with her someday. She lived a good life. Love, Janae
