Donna Marie (Grisham) Pound
Nov. 26, 1954 - Oct. 18, 2016
Our beloved Donna Marie Pound
passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on
Oct. 18, 2016. She is now with her beloved Savior Jesus Christ
and many loved ones in Heaven. She was born in Martinez, California to
Jim and Lillie Grisham. She married the love of her life- John J. Poundon
August 6, 1977. She has two sons, Joseph R. Pound (Jenny Pound)
and Michael T. Pound (Valerie Pound) that she loved dearly.
She has 4 grandchildren (Danika), (Mikey), (Robert) and (Ruby),
that she loves dearly. She has 5 sisters (Karen Pound), (Linda Karp),
(Janet Davy), (Cheryl Cerezo) and (Debi Thatch). Her youngest
sister Debi greeted her into Heaven along with their daddy Jim Grisham and
many other loved ones. She has many neices and nephews and great nieces and
great nephews that she truly loved. They will always remember Aunt Donna and
her camcorder. She loved lming everything and taking a ton of pictures. She
didn’t miss a thing.
Donna had a love for all animals and nature. She cared for many pets and
loved feeding her birds. She had a passion for art that she was really good at.
Her love for lighthouses began on her and John’s honey moon at
Point Arena Lighthouse. She collected many lighthouse ornaments and pictures
over the years. Anyone that knows her, knew her love for lighthouses.
She also collected anything Raccoons as well. Her blown glass collection
is impressive.
Donna’s love for the Lord shined in her everyday. Any body that met her knew her
love for the Lord. She sang in church choirs and knew all the Gospel Hymns.
Donna was a very strong in faith Christian women. She impacted a lot of lives
through her witnessing and love for the Lord. Her ability to see kindness in
everyone and her compassion towards others will be a legacy that everyone she
met can endure with.
Donna will be greatly missed and remembered for ever.
Psalm 73:26- My esh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of
my heart and my portion forever.
John 14:1- Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God;
believe also in me.
A celbration of Donna’s life will be hosted by her family at her home
Sunday October 30, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.
7744 S. Chapel St. Midvale, Utah.
