Donna Marie Dutson Roueche's Obituary
Layton, UT Donna Marie Dutson Roueche’ (1935-2022) passed away at home on December 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Ririe, Idaho on December 10, 1935, where she remained through high school. Later moving to Boise Idaho, where she worked for the State of Idaho in the Capital Building. A couple of years later she left Boise and joined her sister Louise in Ogden, where she began working at Hill Air Force Base. Donna retired after 27 years of service.
In 1958 she found love and married (November 6, 1958) Darrel Adams Roueche’, with whom she had five children, Karen Moody (John), Connie Holt (Roy), William “Bart” Roueche’, Judy Gariepy (Dean) and Linda Blair (Kerry). And one step-daughter Betty Ann Roueche’.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings and her husband.
Donna enjoyed being with family all the time, especially around the holiday’s when the family would join her in her favorite pastime putting together jigsaw puzzles. She also loved to watch the Utah Jazz play on TV or at the arena and was always disappointed when the games were on radio only, but she listened intently to every play. After retiring, Donna enjoyed tending her grandchildren and took to crafts, she and her daughters would make receiving blankets, scarves and quilts to be donated to those in need.
A service will be held at Premier Funeral Services (5335 S 1950 W Roy, Utah) on Friday, December 30, 2022 visitation will be from 9:00AM to 10:45AM with a service at 11:00AM, there will be a graveside service at the Kaysville Cemetery (500 E Crestwood Rd.) at 1:00PM
