Donna Rose Seare's Obituary
On May 9, 2021, Donna Seare passed away in her home with family by her side. She was born September 23, 1935 in Great Falls, Montana to Bertha Graves and Banaire Rose. Donna married Bryan Ray Seare, Jr. in the Manti, Utah temple on July 6, 1956.
She showed her great love for the Savior not only by serving her family tirelessly but also countless others. She held many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary, Young Women’s Organization and Relief Society which all brought her great joy. Volunteering at Primary Children’s Hospital for several years was one of her great loves. Her door was always open to those in need and she cared for many family members in her home.
Donna’s zest for life took her in many directions. She enjoyed camping, trail walks, gardening and was particularly talented in floral arranging and decorating for weddings and holidays. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and loved sharing her pioneer memorabilia and antiques with them.
She had a great passion for music. She supported her children and grandchildren in their musical endeavors, attending many choir and band concerts as well as piano and organ recitals. She worked as the Concert and Artist Director at Dayne’s music for many years helping others expand their musical talents.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Ray Seare, Jr., son Steven Angerbauer Seare and grandson Tyler Wayne Eastman. She is survived by four children, Maurine Rose Seare, Melinda Seare Eastman (Leo), Matthew R. Seare (Janice), Erin Seare-Tarbuck (Debra), 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 15, 2021at the North Canyon 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 3350 South 100 East, Bountiful, Utah.
The Family will be receiving guests from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday prior to services. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
