Nuestra amada abuela Dora falleció el 4 de diciembre a la edad de 87 años en Orem, Utah Dora nació en San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina el 26 de Noviembre de 1927, hija mayor de Joaquin Prado y Luisa Adelina Videla. Creció trabajando arduamente en el viñedo con su papa y hermanas, su abuela española le enseñó a cocinar, su delicioso pastel de papas, pan casero, sopalpillas, papas fritas, ensalada de tomate y sus guisados eran siempre solicitados por su familia. Dora conoció a su esposo Roberto Villar a sus 22 años, se casaron y tuvieron tres hijos. Roberto falleció en el año 1977, Dora recordaba a menudo su vida juntos, trabajando en su negocio horneando pan y sus memorias felices. Ella era conocida por su belleza y su personalidad alegre y juvenil, siempre tenia memorizado un chiste o un poema para compartir y le encantaba hacer reir a los demás. Siempre notaba la belleza y lo positivo en los otros y le encantaba recibir piropos acerca de su cabello y manos con sus uñas pintadas en su color favorito, el rojo. Dora dividia su tiempo entre Utah y Mendoza para pasar tiempo con sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos, y le apasionaba comprar jugetes y ropa para regalar a los niños. Dora era amorosa como esposa, madre, abuela, hermana, tia y amiga. Se le va a extrañar inmensamente por sus hijos que le sobrevivien, Oscar y Mirta, su nuera Marta, sus hermanas Concepción y Gladys, su hermano Joaquin Humberto, sus once nietos, sus nueve bisnietos, por sus familiares y por sus incontables amigos. Ella a retornado a su Padre en los Cielos para reunirse a sus padres, a su esposo y a su amado hijo Omar, donde ella va a continuar brindando alegria y sonrisas a sus seres queridos. Dora vivio una vida maravillosa, llena de amor y su espiritu brillante y dulce irradio luz a todos aquellos que la conocieron. En lugar de flores, la familia esta pidiendo hacer donaciones a Mirta Villar para assistir en llevar a Dorita a Argentina. Los servicios en su memoria se realizaran el dia Viernes 12 de diciembre a las 5:30 pm en 800 S Geneva Rd, donde se le podra visitar y luego se hara una ceremonia en su nombre. Los restos de Dora van a descansar en su tierra natal, Mendoza, Argentina. Our beloved Grandma Dora passed away from this mortal life on December 4, 2014 at the age of 87, in Orem, Utah.
Dora was born in San Rafael, Mendoza Argentina, on November 26, 1927 to Joaquin Prado and Luisa Adelina Videla. She grew up doing arduous work in the vineyard with her father and sisters, and learning to cook from her Spanish grandmother. She was known for her homemade bread, pastel de papas, French fries, tomato salad, stews and much more. Dora married Roberto Villar and together had three children. Roberto died in 1977 and Dora often spoke of their life together, their own business baking bread and their happy memories. She was known as an enthusiastic beautiful woman who always had a joke or a poem to share and loved to make people smile. She always noticed the beauty in others and loved compliments in return. She divided her time between Argentina and Utah in order to visit her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was passionate about finding toys and clothes to take to the kids. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by her two surviving children, Oscar and Mirta, daughter-in-law Marta, two sisters, Concepcion and Gladys, one brother, Joaquin Humberto, eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, relatives and countless friends. She has returned to her Father in Heaven to join her parents, her late husband Roberto, and her beloved son Omar, where she can continue to bring joy and laughter to her loved ones. She lived a wonderful life full of joy and her bright sweet spirit brought light to all she came in contact with. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Mirta Villar to assist in returning Dora to Argentina. A viewing will be held on Friday the 12th at 5:30 pm at 800 South Geneva Rd Orem, Utah followed by a memorial service. Dora’s body will be laid to rest in her home town of Mendoza, Argentina.
