Dora Alicia Sanchez de Lopez's Obituary
Dora Lopez passed away peacefully Wednesday morning on February 8, 2017, at the age of 64. She was born July 14, 1952 in El Salvador. She was a resident of Utah for 10 years and loved the weather and the people. She was a Housekeeper her whole life. She worked for Stonehedge of American Fork for 8 years where she was dedicated in keeping the rooms of its residence clean and beautiful. She took pride in her work and quickly befriended everyone she met. Dora enjoyed dancing cumbias and cooking. In the summer you would find her outside in her garden. She was Married to Jose Lopez on March 28, 1997 in Santa Ana California. In 2015 she was an honoree of the Utah Women’s Walk, for her incredible life story and contributions to the state of Utah. Dora was a loving mother to Merari Hernandez, age 39, Ismerai Hernandez, 37, Aurora Hernandez, 34, Alicia Lopez, 29, and Elizabeth Lopez, 21. She was a wonderful grandma to Dayana, Vanessa, Daniela, Abigail, Nicholas and Andrea. She will be missed by many including friends, family, and residence that she took care of while working.
