I would like to pay tribute to my sister-in-law, Doreen Duerden, a very lovely, kind and sensitive soul. She deeply loved her family and would do anything for them. She took great pride in her brothers as well as her sons and beloved husband. She was always reporting and showed great pride in their accomplishments. She was generous and very complimentary; positive and kind in all she spoke of hers
Doreen was active in serving others through Church activities and through her many and varied friendships with others. She had many friends in her younger years as well as during her older years.
I appreciate all she did for me and for my husband and her brother, Greg, who always had wonderful stories about her. She was a wonderful sister and sister-in-law, and we will miss her very much, but know that we will be with her again. I'm sure she is very happy with her beloved husband, Earl.
Darren, Bruce, and Paul. Your mother may have passed, but her memory will always be in my heart as my only Sister. She was a wonderful mom to you guys and a cherished wife to your Dad. Together they shared a wonderful life together: I’ll always treasure the many times I shared with them as we watched you grow up. Your mom provided the glue for keeping your family together, safe, and close to your Heavenly Father. Now she is with your Dad and I pray they find peace and joy in heaven until you all get to see them again. Rest in peace Sis.
As a neighbor and friend, I have fond memories of many visits with Doreen over the years. She was friendly and chatty. Since she moved to Provo I have missed our talks. I know she was very proud of her boys and their families. She also shared fun stories about her siblings and other family members. She loved all of them deeply. We send our love and condolences to them.
