Dorothy Beatrice Ball's Obituary
Dorothy Beatrice Ball, age 82, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2020 with her daughters Cindy and Noel by her side. Born January 2, 1938 in Manassa, Colorado to Arsenio and Beatrice Trujillo Montoya. . Married James Marion Ball Sr. Our mother loved her grandchildren, her children, our Dad, Neil Diamond and Strawberry Shortcake... in that exact order.
She was daring in business and enjoyed her time at work, but also was adventurous and fun with her grandchildren. Her sense of humor was beyond compare, and the sound of her laughter will play in our memories forever. Today we hope she is sharing that laughter with our dad, her mother and countless others she has missed through the years.
Survived by her children, James (Sarah) Ball Jr, Stephen Carnegie, Cynthia (Howard) Dumas, Dwayne Ball, Albert John (May) Ball, Noel (Scott) Dean; grandchildren, James Dumas, Jeffrey Dumas, Christopher Ball, Aubree Childs, Anthony Ball, Melissa Ball, Sheriece Morris, Maegan Swain, Erin Wise, Stephanie Ball, Michael O’Brien, Harrison Dean, Brandon Dean, Taylor Ball, Elias Ball, Jessica Ball, and Mason Ball; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers Russell and Frank Montoya, and sisters Elonda Mae Lucero, and Nellie Woods. Preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter Andrea Mitchell, parents, brothers, and sisters.
A viewing will be held from 11-12:30 pm, Monday, May 18, 2020 at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South, Midvale. Graveside service to follow at 1:30 pm, Holladay Cottonwood Memorial Park, 4900 Memory Lane, Holladay, Utah.
