Paul Montoya
I knew and worked with Dorthy at Winslow Convalescent Center back in the day. She was an awesome friend to me and a Beautiful Soul. She always had a smile for those around her and had a laugh that just lifted me up like no other person could. I was in my early twenties and she kinda looked after me at work because of my age and being the only man there. It was always a joy when I was paired up with her. She had so many stories, some just had me rolling! Once on our day off she came to my house to teach me how to make fried bread which I just couldn’t do! She made me do it as she instructed and watched with all the right ingredients and still came out like roof tiles! I always referred to that day lovingly as the ‘Kanuho’ incident. Hahaha… still warms my heart.
I will always love her and am sorry I never got to reconnect with her after I left Winslow though I did look for her many times in vain. I’m 57 now, Never forgot her and never will.
With all my Heart and with all my Love,
Forever your Friend,
Paul A. Montoya
