Dorothy Ann Lane's Obituary
Dorothy Ann Lane age 89, died on Saturday, December 17, 2022. She was born October 9, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois. She married Sidney M. Lane on January 31, 1953 and spent the next 23 years following her military husband around the world. They lived in many places including Illinois, Utah, Germany, California, Hawaii, Kentucky, South Carolina, & Washington. They had 5 kids Brenda, Eric, Clarissa, Jeannie, & Debbie. Each child was born in a different state. In June of 1975 they retired to Utah. Dorothy had many hobbies including knitting and cross-stitching and made many beautiful things for her kids and grandkids.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving parents and siblings, her devoted husband Sidney M. Lane, her son Eric Allen Lane, and her daughter Brenda Joyce Lane-Woods. Dorothy is survived by her Daughters Jeannie Ann Scott (Mike Whiteman) of AZ & Debbie Kathleen Woodin (Thomas) of PA, & Clarissa Jean Lane of UT. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on December 28, 2022 at Fort Douglas Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah where she will be interred with her husband.
