Grandpa took care of me when I got in a bad bike wreck. He took me to the dentist to see if they could fix me, and then took me to the ER to have a procedure done to fix my teeth. He waited with me until I could be with my parents, then he went with Grandma to take care of my siblings. He was always kind, hard-working, and striving to do what is right. He was beyond excited for me when I was called to serve my mission in Brazil. Upon returning from my mission, I was able to talk with him about our experiences and he showed me wonderful artwork and items he collected while in Brazil. I will miss my grandpa greatly. He always was an example to me, and it was a privilege to follow in his footsteps by serving a mission in Brazil. I am grateful that now he is resting from his earthly pains and challenges. I am excited to see him again, and I am especially grateful to know that he is preparing my son to come into this world in a few months. I love you, grandpa. I'll see you later!
