Douglas passed away peacefully in the morning of August 14, 2018 after a tough battle of lung cancer.
Born to Patsy Watson and George Patrick in Michigan, Doug was one of five siblings. He resided in South Carolina until 2011 when Doug decided to move to Utah. He has lived and experienced many wonderful opportunities that the West has to offer. Many who knew Doug knew how animated, charismatic, and charming he was and that he was the life of the party. He could make anyone laugh at any moment, put others first, and was helpful even when it was difficult for him. He was a beacon of happiness and caring soul who will be missed deeply.
He is survived by his four siblings George Patrick Jr., Janet Watts, Dennis Patrick and Susan Patrick; all residents of South Carolina; his two children Amanda Harris and Douglas Patrick Jr. (PJ), son in law, and two grandchildren, Mia and Sadie Harris, who reside in Utah.
The family asks for privacy during this time of grief.
