I am Duane‘s big sister. Regrettably most of my memories of him when he was younger. I want to live with my grandma aunt at a young age. some of my best memories of Duane were when he was younger, and he would be standing up in his crib with these gorgeous, big blue eyes and long eyelashes and the biggest smile ever. I remember when he got a little older playing in our sandbox in the backyard. We would get the sand, wet and make molds of houses and different things and make roads and play with the matchbox cars for hours. It was so much fun. I remember him always being happy and he had them most unique laugh I’ve ever heard. I remember it to this day. I really regret not making an effort to know him and stay in contact with him. I loved my brother a lot. He passed away within a day of exactly one year of when I lost my oldest son in 2024. I will miss you and I hope you’re happy and at peace. You’ll be forever in our hearts.!

Where to begin. He Loved Tam and Talon.

If Duane was in the room there was a laugh to be laughed. Even if you were pissed at him it didn’t matter he seemed to be find a way to laugh about why.
Fun was what life was about for D. Playing Lawn darts when they first came out and Not safe always made for some scary fun lol. Horseshoes, croquet badminton.
Camping and fishing I remember having a pocket fisherman and D with all his nice rods and reels he said whaaat let me see that lol that has a good cast I’ll trade you. 😉
Bowling wow if you ever watched Duane bowl he had a CRAZY curve.
So many memories…

I will miss you D.

I was so sorry to hear about Duane's passing. I remember him from my childhood on Elizabeth Circle — always a kind and silly presence in the neighborhood. He watched over our “night games” and even joined in a time or two. He always made us laugh! Those early memories of growing up are filled with familiar faces like his, and it's hard to believe one of them is gone. Please know my thoughts are with Tammy, Talon and all who knew Duane. May he rest in peace.

Unc, you did not lack in the fun department even during times of ache and /or trouble . We literally , drug hoses through the house from the front yard and the back yard to have killer Water fights inside !! With our a care in the world about what got wet , broken or dirty . You taught me how to stick shift , we got pulled over and you talked your way out of it . Rode bikes on dirt mountains before Jordan landing was even built . Snowball fights , my first nerf bow, basketball games ,Card games and little league . Stupid stupid movies 😘 weezing the juice and Steven Tyler pjs . You introduced laughter , fun and mini corns . Lightening spirits and being fun . To my aunt and tal. You have unimaginable strength and have endured much . You are loved beyond words and prayed for EVERY SINGLE DAY xo

Some of our best memories of Duane are going Camping, riding 4wheelers and dirt bikes. He had the best laugh! All our love goes out to Tammie & Talon.
