Duane Michael Haarala
1962 - 2017
Duane Michael Haarala 6/21/1962-7/10/2017. Our treasured father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away quietly and is free of his mortal pain. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Paul Rueben Haarala and Ester Carmichael. He grew up in Utah and Virginia. He graduated with a bachelors degree from Weber State University. In 1995, he married Maryann Kingsley, they later divorced but remained good friends. They had one child together, Madison Lillie Haarala, and had the opportunity to claim three other children of his own. Aric Haarala (Camie), Jessica Carter, Josh Haarala (Meisha). He is survived by his four children. His parents proceeded him in death. He is also survived by his brother David Haarala (Jenny) of North Carolina, step mother Judith Haarala, Virginia, and twelve grandchildren.
A memorial service will be hosted July 25th, 2017 in Pinedale, Wyoming at the Lakeside Lodge at Fremont Lake. He loved this part of the country very much and would always be found with a smile on his face as he fished its waters. It always gave him peace being there, and there he will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to their GoFundMe - http://gf.me/u/bgsv2e. He is now home with his parents in their loving arms. Rest well Duane, you are missed and loved by so many.
