Dulce Lizeth Ruiz Zavaleta, age 40, passed away on January 12, 2026, at the University of Utah Hospital, surrounded by her loving husband and daughter.
Dulce was born on June 14, 1985, in Mexico. She later built a life filled with love, family, and kindness. Dulce met her husband, Oscar, at work, and they were married in 2015. Together they shared three children: Brenda (17), Naomi (9), and Ian (6).
Dulce was a loving and caring mother who cherished spending time with her children. Family meant everything to her, and her devotion to them was evident in all she did. She was known for her kindness, sense of humor, and quiet generosity toward others.
Dulce loved dancing and listening to Banda music, which brought her great joy. Her warmth and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Premier Funeral Services, 67 E 8000 S, Midvale, Utah 84047.
In memory of Dulce, attendees are kindly asked to wear her favorite colors, Purple and Black.

Dulce nació el 14 de Junio de 1985 en México. Posteriormente, construyó una vida llena de amor, familia y bondad. Dulce conoció a su esposo, Oscar, en el trabajo y se casaron en 2015. Juntos tuvieron tres hijos: Brenda (17), Naomi (9) e Ian (6).
Dulce era una madre amorosa y atenta que disfrutaba pasar tiempo con sus hijos. La familia lo era todo para ella, y su devoción por ellos era evidente en todo lo que hacía. Era conocida por su bondad, sentido del humor y discreta generosidad hacia los demás.
A Dulce le encantaba bailar y escuchar música de banda, lo que le llenaba de alegría. Su calidez y espíritu cariñoso serán profundamente extrañados por todos los que la conocieron.
El servicio conmemorativo se llevará a cabo el Sábado 24 de enero de 2026, de 12:00 p. m. a 2:00 p. m., en Premier Funeral Services, 67 E 8000 S, Midvale, Utah 84047.
