Had the privilege of growing up next to Dwight when he lived in Roy. I was able to learn many great lessons from him and think about him from time to time. I mowed his lawn during the season and can't do mine without thinking of Dwight.

My family and I we're lucky enough to have lived next to Dwight and Jackie. Dwight and Jackie became like grandparents to my sons they were always happy and willing to help our family at any time. Every Thursday my son Logan would mow their lawn Logan refuse to let Dwight pay him. Every year when school started do I say we make a special shirt for the boys and Jackie and white would make sure that they had all the school goodies that they needed. One day while at home I heard knock at the door and a man's voice talking to Logan. He said, "I know what you've been doing and your going to take this." Logan said, "I will not." I thought, "what has he done now." When I went downstairs to see what was happening. The man was gone. Logan told me that Dwight's son had came over and paid him for the years he'd mowed the lawn. Our family loved and adored Dwight and Jackie. Dwight will certainly be missed.
Dwight and Jackie were our neighbors for a long time. In that time Dwight and Jackie became like grandparents to my kids. Every school year they bought them school supplies and gave them each a special shirt with an embroidered, fish, car or whatever the boys enjoyed at the time. Every Thursday for years my son, Logan would mow their lawn. Logan refused to let them pay him. Dwight certainly tried but, Logan did it out of love and respect. Until one day Dwight's son came over and I'll never forget hearing. " I know what you've been doing and your going to take this." Logan said no. Alll I could think was what did my son do now. When the door closed I asked what was going on. He told me that Dwight's son had come over and gave him money for all the years he'd been mowing Dwight and Jackie's lawn. I was very happy that our family was lucky enough to have them as neighbors and considered them as family. Dwight will be missed and was very loved.
