I was Eddie and Brooke’s neighbor for two years. We shared a driveway, our kids played together, and we often had chats outside. I was a single mom at the time and Eddie ALWAYS checked in on me. He would catch me coming home from work and we would shoot the breeze for a few minutes. My mom passed from cancer a few years ago, so we would often talk about the hardships it brought. Without asking, Eddie would salt my steps and drive during the winter, EVEN when he wasn’t feeling well. He would bring in my trash can, move packages for me… just always so willing to help and to look after us just because. I am forever grateful for Brooke and her family, for the kindness they always showed us. Eddie is one of a kind, and I am thankful I got to know him for the short time I did. Sending all my love.
I worked with Eddie. His huge laugh and smile were always abundant and welcomed. I’m sorry to hear of his passing, this world is now dimmer because of his absence. My prayers and condolences go out to his family of whom we spoke of often at work. With Love and sympathies Travis Honeycutt
What a beautiful tribute. Such an amazing son, brother, husband, father and friend. He never complained and fought so hard to stay with his beautiful family. He will definitely be looking over his family. ❤️
I will miss him Eddie was so much fun to work with. He was always smiling and laughing. Very up beat. We had great times at JBs over the few years together. Huge hugs and lot's of Love to the family. Live Keven Christensen and Marlene Christensen
Sorry for your loss, but glad you have such great memories with him ❤️
Let me be the first to say that this world won’t be the same without you pal. Eddie and I have been good friends since high school and shared many adventures together from Utah to all the way out in Pennsylvania where we both worked in the oil field together. The last 15 years or so life had limited how much we saw each other or talked, but before that we were always getting in to shenanigans together. Eddie always had that energy, positivity and ability to make you laugh. Point in example is the time we were driving down to sand hollow for a party and he felt he had to serenade me with singing “I’m bringing sexy back” by Justin Timberlake not once but like 4 times. He may have had a beer or 5, but it was the funnest dang thing I ever did see and just couldn’t stop laughing. It was his official song of the weekend.
I sure did love this guy, and would never take back one moment I got to spend with him.
You made everything fun and exciting and I appreciate you letting me share part of your life with you and letting me be your friend. Rest in peace pal and I’ll be seeing you again soon.
