EDITH MAY HATT SCOTT
1934-2020
Our beloved “Sunshine” mother passed away peacefully at home Saturday May 23, 2020 in West Jordan, Utah of natural causes. Edith was born February 7, 1934 to George and Bertos Hatt in Bluffdale, Utah. She spent her younger years in Bingham, Utah with her six (6) sisters and brother.
Her true joy in life was her five (5) children. Edith’s brilliant smile lit the room with joy. She enjoyed doing craft projects, doing puzzles and walking in the rain to name a few.
She is survived by her sons Raymond, John, and Danny Torres and her daughter Patty Torres Tarpe; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Margie Torres Sparacino.
A Celebration of Life services will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 8490 South 2700 West, West Jordan, Utah. Dinner will be served.
Our family would like to thank Tina Peterson for her loving care for our mother, and Canyon Home Care & Hospice for the excellent care during her journey home.
