Edmund Joseph Kessler's Obituary
Edmund Joseph Kessler passed away peacefully on May 13, 2013. He was born on September 18, 1920 to Simon Kessler and Kathryn Eibert in Cincinnati Ohio. He joins his beloved wife of forty six years Edith Petree.
Easy Ed to his friends and co-workers was a kind and gentle man who loved photography, music, and the simple pleasures of life. Edmund served in World War II as a member of the Army Air Corp, 835th Air Engineering Squadron and was proud of being part of our Greatest Generation. After the war he was employed by Univac as a computer service engineer where he retired after thirty five years of service.
A loving father of three he is survived by his children, Samuel Sole; Deborah Siegel; Martin Kessler; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Good night sweet prince, pop we will miss your generous smile, wry sense of humor, and humble approach to life.
A special thanks to Apple Village Assisted Living facility where Edmund resided during the last four years of life and to Inspiration Hospice staff for their warm loving care.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 Camp Williams Road, Blufdale, UT. Viewing will be on one hour prior to the services at the Chapel at the cemetery. Military honors will follow the services.
