Edward Albert Card's Obituary
Edward Albert Card, 89, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on October 10, 2018. He was born in Oakville, ONT Canada on September 1, 1929 to the late William Card and Francis Blake.
Edward is survived by his children: Leslie Ann Card, Katherine Leah Smith, David Edward Card, Paul William Card and Elizabeth Jean Card, Siblings: Bernard Card, Margaret Card, Moe Griffiths and Marg Broadbent as well as 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Farraway Card, parents, William Edward Card and Francis Emmeline Blake, and siblings: Billy Card, Frances Webb, Donny Card and Sis Hatt.
As a family, we are sad to let such a great example & pillar of strength go, but we are at peace knowing that he has lead a great life with no regrets. We are so grateful to have the knowledge that dad will continue his work in heaven.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 am with a funeral service starting at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6770 South 500 East, Midvale, Utah. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Edwards name to, Mom’s Place Group Home, 19027 N 73rd Drive, Glendale AZ 85308. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
