Edward Stevenson "White Eagle" Fillerup, 69, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in Salt Lake City, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on November 7, 1956, in Ogden, Edward spent his life deeply rooted in the state he proudly called home. Known to many as "White Eagle," he carried a name that reflected his strong spirit, steady presence, and the quiet strength he offered to those around him. Edward bore big dreams and an even bigger heart. He loved nature, cherished his family beyond measure, and showed kindness to everyone he met.
Throughout his 69 years, Edward's life was defined by meaningful connections and enduring relationships. Whether sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply spending time with those he loved, he created lasting memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitzi and Joseph Fillerup; his twin brother, Walter Fillerup; and his beloved grandsons, Brynson and Dillon Stuart.
Edward is survived by his children, Jen Reilley, Spencer Fillerup, Joseph Fillerup, Sarah Gressmen, and Jacob Fillerup; his 14 cherished grandchildren; and his four sisters. His legacy lives on through each of them.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on February 18, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street.
Though his passing leaves a profound space in the lives of those who knew him, his memory will remain a source of comfort and peace. May all who were part of Edward's journey carry forward the love and light he so freely gave.
