Edward F. Lovato's Obituary
Edward Francis Lovato, born February 27, 1954 to Mary C & David Lovato in SLC, UT, died February 19, 2015 in his home in WVC, UT. Survived by his beloved wife Nelly Lovato, five sons: Anthony (Rachel), Ed Jr. (Nicole), Tim, Chris (Carol), and Alex (Shandelle), three step-sons "Who are in Colombia": Cesar (Mayra), Diego and Duvan, five grandchildren, six siblings: Benito (Linda), Beverly (Sonny), Hedy, Raymond (Gloria), Geri and Mary, his best friend Rod, and numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss him greatly. Preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: LeRoy, Manual, Floyd and Johnny, and brother-in-law Fernando. Edward was a member of the LDS Church and worked for the SL International Airport for many years until he retired. He was a great man with an entrepenurial spirit who ran several successful businesses in his lifetime, including most recently, several eBay power seller stores which he loved running, together with his wife. As a young man he was politically active in the hispanic community and worked for equal rights & personal liberties. He loved his family unconditionally, was admired for his strong work ethic and always led by example in every area of life. Those who knew him are better from it. Viewing, Monday February 23 6-8pm, viewing Tuesday February 24 9:30-10:45, memorial service Tuesday February 24 11am, all at the Hunter 6th Ward 3930 South 6000 West, WVC, UT, interment at 1pm, Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road.
