Edward Lewis Owens Jr's Obituary
Edward Lewis Owens, Jr., after a short illness, passed away on May 21, 2021. He was born in Watsonville, California on October 16, 1950. Ed married Patricia Friend on July 28, 1973, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and they raised two daughters, Monica Grows of Maryland, and Jessica Owens of Georgia. As a family they called Kaysville and West Valley home for many years.
Ed is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (2017) and by his father, Edward Lewis Owens, Sr., (1996). Ed is survived by daughters, Monica and Jessica; his mother Carma Owens of Kaysville and two sisters, Linda Mitchell (Tim) of Clearfield, and Lisa Carlson (Carl) of Syracuse; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ed loved the outdoors – camping, hunting, fishing, boating; and when he could, enjoyed taking his motorcycle out for a ride in the summertime.
To have loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever.
