Edy Lou Mueller's Obituary
Edna Louise “Edy Lou” Mueller died peacefully Sunday, November 16, 2014 after suffering with Alzheimer’s disease. Edy was a Christmas baby in 1937 in Lovel, Wyoming. Edy lived many happy years with her parents in Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. Edy lived and traveled to so many places because her father, Louis Clark, was in the oil business. Edy married Robert Mueller in 1972 in Elko, Nevada and she is survived by her two sons, S. Craig Hinton, L. Chad Hinton and her stepdaughter, Ginny Clayborn. Edy is survived by her grandchildren Katie Ilic, Kalley Hinton, Lindsey Hinton, Kirby Hinton, Clark Hinton, and Tyler Hinton. Edy was very active and involved in the sports that her sons played. Edy could have coached any football team to a championship. Edy never missed a game or wrestling match that her sons participated in. Edy was a hospital volunteer at St. Mark’s Hospital for many years. Her bright smile, laugh, and compassion comforted many individuals when they were not feeling good and needed a cheerful visit. The Sandy Senior Center will miss Edy because she was very active there. Edy participated in many activities at least three times a week. There will be a graveside service at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S. Murray, UT on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations will be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association of Utah at 855 E. 4800 S., Ste. 100 Salt Lake City, Utah 84107.
