I'm very appreciative to the dedicated and faithful leadership of Elaine in the Edgemont 4th Ward Young Women when I was growing up there. I'll never forget having a YW adventure at her cabin at Sundance. All of us girls were laughing in the loft at night, when all of a sudden the whole cabin started shaking. We were all screaming and crying because we thought we were caught in an avalanche. Elaine calmly reassured us that we were not in an avalanche, but the snow on the A-frame roof just decided to slide off, and that was what caused the loud rumbling. We then had a good laugh. All my love to the family at this tender time of her passing.
