She enjoyed collecting rocks especially petrified wood that was found in the Oregon Desert, she also drove the beet truck on their farm in Oregon. She loved to raise chickens and ducks and that earned her the title of “Grandma Duck” to her grandchildren. Eldene loved spending her time with Dean at their cabin in the Henefer Franklin Canyon in Summit County.
