Eleanor was a great woman of faith and devotion to her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and His gospel. Many lives have been affected by her service and influence. I'm so glad she and Fred are together once again. Eleanor loved to visit with people and I’m grateful I was able to have a delightful conversation with her recently in her home. She was lucid and appeared as healthy as one could expect for someone of 91. I was surprised to hear of her rapid decline and passing. Perhaps her heart simply lacked the will to keep going once a good portion of it left when Fred passed.

Fred was our home teacher for many years. When it became difficult for him to come to us, we began going to his house and Eleanore would join us. We loved to take mangoes and pineapple to them and always enjoyed visiting with them. Since we have a Samoan son in law, it was fun to share Polynesian stories. We will miss the Danielsons and wish goodness to their family.

I had the privilege of being Eleanor's ministering sister for a few years with Cris Diaz, but when they changed me, either Eleanor was calling me or I was calling or coming to her house to still catch up on what was going on with her health and life in general. The last time I saw her was on her birthday last month. Eleanor had such knowledge about the church and the scriptures and she taught me many things. She had such a love for her kids, grandkids and great grandkids and would talk about them often. I was shocked to read the email that she had passed but also happy to know she and Fred have been reunited. Love you Eleanor with all my heart. Chris and Dave Sambrano
