It has been months since Ellen passed. It was with much sadness and also joy when I learned of her passing. Ellen and I were unlikely friends. I helped her walk around the park one day and my life would never be the same. Ellen was fiercely determined, stubborn, courageous, determined, and loved the beauty of the earth (although blind) and most of all she was faithful and loved her God, even in her trials. I have never known anyone who endured more challenges in life than Ellen and yet she was a fighter with a will to live each day the best she could. We had wonderful conversations and learned from each other. Even though we sometimes had disagreements we were always friends. She loved taking rides in my car, "Archie" and she loved going to visit the moose up Cottonwood canyon. I will miss Ellen very much but I am so happy that she is free from the limitations of her frail and painful body and is finally in the arms of her Lord. Rest in Peace Ellen and my love and condolences to her family.
