I have very fond memories of visiting and staying with Edge and Judi many time over the years. Edge had wonderful stories to tell. He loved trains, planes and nice cars. He also loved chocolate and sweets. We had many buffet dinners in Reno. He was a kind, humble man. I'm glad I knew him.
MY FATHER COULD MELT MY HEART WITH HIS SOFT BROWN EYES (AS WITH MY BROTHER, STAN) EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T SPEND MOST OF MY LIFE WITH HIM OR STAN EXCEPT FOR TEMPORARY STAYS AND VISITS, HE WAS SO SPECIAL TO ME. I CRY AS I WRITE THIS BUT I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT HE WAS SO SPECIAL IN SO MANY WAYS. HE MADE MISTAKES LIKE MOST OF US DURING HIS LIFE AND BUT LATER I FELT HE WANTED TO MAKE IT RIGHT AS WE ALL WILL. HE ENRICHED MY FAMILY WITH HIS KINDNESS AND "LESSONS" WHICH WAS APPRECIATED. I LOVE YOU DAD
I have many fond memories of my Grandpa Ritter. We used to visit him and Grandma Ritter at his house in Reno about every couple years from a very young age. He seemed to have a very kind heart which is sorely lacking in the world we live in. I'll always remember his stories as a pilot and other things he did. I know my mom cherished and loved him dearly. I hope that we will meet again.
Edge Ritter/Daddy 's first family included son, Stanley and daughter, Arlene.
Stan had four sons plus three grand-daughters and two grandsons.
Arlene had a daughter and two sons plus a grandson and grand-daughter.
Edge had a large family located all over the US and Europe who never really got to know him but will stay in our hearts and minds forever.
I always enjoyed my conversations with Edge. He led a very interesting life and was a pleasure to talk to. Edge also had a son and daughter from his first marriage, seven other grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Rest in peace Edge.
